Source standard
- Start with the governing or implementing official source.
- Identify who may be affected and the relevant effective date.
- Separate confirmed rules from proposals, court actions, announcements, and implementation details.
- Explain what a borrower can verify in an official account.
Publication and review dates
A last-reviewed date changes only after substantive review. A correction does not erase the original publication history. Time-sensitive guides identify the sources used.
Claims and estimates
An estimate is labeled as an estimate. FedRepay does not publish unsupported success rates, savings totals, forgiveness totals, testimonials, or borrower outcomes.
